The Vaillant Ecotec 6 series boiler was fitted recently for a customer to replace a Potterton installed by my father approximately 35 years ago! It was still working well when it was taken out, but some parts are now obsolete so it was replaced. Most of the rest of the heating system remains in tact and working well. This is by no means an unusual set of circumstances for us either.
